Kyiv Trolleybus Network
Kyiv operates one of the largest trolleybus networks in Europe. The system covers most districts of the city and is particularly important for connecting residential neighborhoods with metro stations.
Modern low floor trolleybuses operate on many routes and provide quieter and more environmentally friendly transport compared with diesel buses. Frequent service on central corridors makes trolleybuses a reliable option for daily commuting.
Kyiv Metro and Passenger Flow
The Kyiv Metro is the fastest and most heavily used form of public transport in the city. The network includes three lines that cross the capital from north to south and from east to west. The total length of the metro system is more than 60 kilometers.
The busiest stations include central hubs where passengers transfer between metro lines and surface transport. Areas such as Khreshchatyk, Teatralna and Maidan Nezalezhnosti are among the most active parts of the network.
